Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
I am back to obtain the ingredients to make this again. There were no leftovers. I made this for my 2 year olds family dessert and it was a huge hit. The only change I made was to add 5 instead of 4 bananas and I made sure the cream cheese was at room temeperature. Thank you for a favorite family dessert.

Microwave Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2012
This is great. I did take another reviewers suggestion and added a little cornstarch as I too like a thicker consistency.

Great Easy Waffles

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2012
These were good but they were not easy to prepare with the separating of the eggs and zesting the lemons. However, there was good flavor and we like the hint of lemon with each bite.

This is a tried and true method and one that my family has been making for a long time. Very Very simple and good.

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
This was amazing. I made it as it was written minus the caraway seeds (I didn't have them). My family loved the bread. I will be making it again soon.

Easy Lemon Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
This is good; however, I love love lemon/tart desserts...so I added the juice of one lemon and the zest to a Lemon cake mix. Omitted the extract and use the juice of two fresh lemons the zest to the powder sugar for the glaze. Huge hit. Great recipe and yes the lemon jello works.

Layered Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
This was ok. A lot of work for the outcome. I probably will not make this again; however, it was the best peppermint bark recipe that I have come across, so maybe this is just not a treat for me personally.

This will be my fourth batch to make and I have given this recipe out to many people. My son has requested this for his birthday "cake". Easy and so addicting.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
This is amazing. I got many request for this recipe when I used it as a filler for my goody bags and it ended up being a huge hit. I have double the recipe twice now.

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
This was just ok. I really wanted to like this recipe. But the sweetened condense milk was too overpowering. I bake at every work function and the recipes are always requested. This one was not requested and was not finished. I threw half of it away. On a positive note it was pretty to look at it.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Okay these were a huge hit. I made goody bags for people that I work with and for people that my husband works with and I was getting instant messages all day with "OMG". My husband said I needed to make at least 60 more bags next year, because people that were not in his department came up to him wanting truffles. These were easy to make and I will be making them again soon. Awesome recipe.

Pat's Baked Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
These are the best baked beans. I have cooked them in the oven and in the crock pot. I like the oven the best, but the are still delicious in the crock pot. The secret to ensuring that they turn out good, is to not skimp on the bean brand. Use good quality can beans.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
This was a good dish. I made this in the crock pot with bone in chicken, after I followed step 1, but other than changing the way it was cooked and the type of chicken, I kept all the ingredients the same. We will make this again.

Fabulous Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
This was a huge hit in our house and very easy to make, but it is more like steamed cabbage then fried. I served it with a pork roast.

Coffee Liqueur Ice Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
This was very good taste wise, but the liqueur causes the pie to not set like you would expect and it melts very fast. I will make this again, but without the crust and in a glass. It would make a great adult layered dessert drink.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
Oh My Gosh...this was a huge hit. People wanted to know what bakery I got the cake from and it was so easy to make. I did go a little more on the coffee and Kahlua, but other than that kept it just as written.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
Oh My Gosh! This is so good. I used two round cake pounds and strong coffee for the water. I also made a not so sweet chocolate butter cream frosting just between the layers and right on top so it dripped down. I get so many request for this cake. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for a great recipe.
