Halibut Supreme

i have to say while cooking it smelled delicious,, however when we ate it it just wasnt good,, something about the consistancy of the topping or how it made the fish very fishy tasting,, i cant quite explain what it was exactly,, if it would have tasted how it smelled it would have been great,, but we just didnt like it,, thanks anyway

Braised Balsamic Chicken

I love balsamic vinegar but didnt want it overpowering so as others suggested i cut the vinegar just a bit and added some chicken stock to it,, this was really really good,,, i did also dredge the chicken in flour since i like the way it will thicken the sauce a bit otherwise did the recipe exact and it was really really great, definitely would make this again,, simple,, one pan,, easy clean up too,, to go overboard with the balsamic i paired it with balsamic braised red cabbage,, great meal !!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

the flavor of the chicken was really tasty,, next time i may scoop some of the liquid out, put it in a saucepan and make a thicker gravy with it, i think shortening the time to possibly six hours may help the texture of the chicken but that is usually what happens with chicken in the crock pot,, flavorwise though this was really really good

Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo

i have to say that after moving from Houston i missed cajun food, this gumbo was absolutely delicious !! i did add Okra towards the last 45 minutes of it but the flavor was fantastic !! a definite keeper !!

Cheesy Sausage Pasta

i was really surprised at this one,, i usually dont put reviews on here. i used lactose free milk ( since i cant have heavy cream) and thickened it with flour and cornstarch, and did add some red pepper flakes,, served it over bowtie pasta,, it was really pretty good,, i did add some frozen peas and a can of diced fire roasted tomatoes for color and flavor,, i would make it again just like that,, maybe just add a bit to the milk/flour mixture for more sauce.
