About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
Making split pea soup, putting it a blender to puree and forgetting to put the lid back on - not once, but twice! What a horrible, horrible mess!

Mound Bars
These are even better if you freez them and then eat! Cuts the sweetness a bit.

Lemon Sponge Pie I
Very moist and very easy to make. Use nonfat milk to cut calories. You can also use custard cups if you don't have a pie shell available. Top with whipped cream. Nice pie to bring to your new neighbors!

Fresh Asparagus Soup
Use LOTS of no salt seasonings along with required salt. Asparagus tends to be a bit bland so I let the soup sit for a day before serving and it was terrific! I used nonfat greek yogurt and I was quite pleased with the results.
