i have always loved to bake,especially desserts and breads. i love winter as im pretty good at slow cooking and other "winter' foods like Chicken and Dumplings is my family's favorite that i cook. we didnt really have any tradtions per se mostly cooking in florida is about seafood and grilling out.but my stepmother made this white cake with buttercream frosting that we all loved so much we'd fuss over who got the last piece. my father-in-law Bronnie said my chicken and dumplings were the best hes ever had and hes a southern man so that was quite special. i cant seem to fry chicken to save my life its always awful.
