Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
These burritos were really good, just not quite a favorite. I added shredded chicken to the mix for some meat, but it certainly wasn't necessary because there's already so much in it. I also made white rice with lemon juice to put in mine, and that was very nice. Otherwise, I stuck to the recipe, and it turned out pretty good.

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
This sandwich is wonderful and simple, and I actually can't wait to make it again. Our only complaint is that you can't eat more than one unless you have something with a different flavor for a side dish. But nothing against the sandwich itself.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
The recipe was okay, but lacked flavor. I didn't stick with the recipe entirely, but went off of some other comments and sauteed the mushrooms and only 1/2 onion in garlic and white wine. I'm glad I only used 1/2 onion because there was a lot, but I'm not a huge onion fan anyway. The consistency was good, but all of the flavor was in the mushrooms, until I heated it up for lunch the next day, and it had dispersed a little more. I believe if I do make this again, I'll do a little worcestershire sauce and maybe steal from another recipe and use cream cheese, but hubby wasn't a fan at all, so there might not be a second time.

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
This recipe is delicious. I wasn't too strict about my measurements, and added a little more chicken broth because my chicken was just over 5 lbs. Surprisingly, it only took 3 hours on low, and 1 hr on high to cook, which makes me think my slow cooker is a little too powerful. After the meat was cooked, I put it in the oven broiler for a few minutes to get the skin crispy, which I left on as per some of the reviews. The skin turned out crispy, and the meat was still beautifully juicy. I made gravy with the leftover juices. My husband loved it.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This pizza sauce is great for being so fast to make. My husband really liked it, and he's pretty picky in general, but especially pizza.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
These pork chops were so good, and my husband especially loved them. Because of my work schedule, they cooked a little longer than they were supposed to, which made them completely crumble, but the flavor was still good.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
The first few bites were great, but then the ranch got a little overpowering. If I make this meat again, I will do a little less ranch mix than recommended.

This was delicious and hit the spot! My husband was skeptical as he had never had twice-baked potatoes before, but he loved them too.
