Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This recipe is wonderful! I made both thighs and chicken breast in the same dish. The secret I think is to baste the chicken first with somewhat liquidy sauce and then cover it and bake on 425 for 20 min. And then I thickened the sauce with more cornstarch until it became a glaze. I glazed the chicken and then baked for another 45 min, taking it out every so often to flip and glaze again. Last step I broiled the chicken on low for about 3-4 mins. Made with garlicy mashed red potatoes and it was spectacular. The gravy went perfectly with the mashed potatoes.
