Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip
YUMMY!!! I bring this to all pot lucks or get togethers becuase it is demanded of me becuase it is that good. Some tips: I use fat free / reduced fat everything (mayo, cream cheese, sour cream) becuase it can tend to be to rich if you dont (also makes it a little healthier). My boyfriend loves when I mix a little mozzarella cheese in the mix before baking (adds more depth). I serve it with a thinly sliced baguette. I also like to add chopped tomato on top and sprinkle on mozzarella cheese for the last few minutes of baking. Also, throughly rinsing and washing of the artichoke hearts and spinach is a must, if you dont, sometimes you can get a bit of a canned taste. And for leftovers (if you have any) make an omelette and put this on top. Happy cooking :)

Pork Dumplings
First attempt at making Chinese food. My boyfriend loves loves loves dumplings at local restaurants. He was ver doubtful these would be good. He tried one...and didn't stop till the plate was gone. The mix of ginger, sesame oil, and delicious pork and cabbage was amazing. I used other suggestions and made a dipping sauce of soy sauce rice vinegar and sesame oil with chopped green onion. I didn't steam them, I pan fried them in a non stick pan with a splash of oil. It is time consuming but great hands on project for date night, crack a bottle of wine and have fun. You'll deffinately enjoy these

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork
Absolutly AMAZING. My boyfriend loves pulled pork and he melted at the knees with this recipe. I made a few small changes. I used a pork butt roast (very similar area of the pig, and by butcher recommended I use that instead). I also cooked it on low for 12 hours. For the bbq sauce I used a texas style bbq sauce. I highly recommend heating up more bbq sauce and topping your sandwhich with it. and of course, some home made slaw (best sandwhich ever!!!)
