Cheese Filling

Excellent. Cheesecake-esque filling perfect for cupcakes. Just be sure to use a dense batter so you don't end up with cheese on the bottom & cupcake on top, like I did (oops!).

Graham Cracker Cake I

Okay, WOW. I'm not a 'sweet' person by most standards (salt & cheese are my vices) by this recipe is amazing! I made cupcakes instead of a cake, which may have helped the rising / fluffy factor. When this recipe asks you to add sugar to egg whites and fluff, it's asking you to make a proper meringue. And you MUST make a proper meringue, or your cake won't rise at all - the air inside the meringue expands as you bake your cake, giving it rise and fluffiness. And the icing? Is ridiculous, caramel-y goodness. Not your traditional icing in the slightest. Yum! I took these to one of my classes and they just about died - have never gotten so many over-the-moon compliments as I did with this recipe! Thanks for sharing

Gingerbread Men

These turned out great! I actually pressed the dough into a mini-men silicone mold sheet (think ~30 inch-tall cookies about 3/4" thick) and they were SO moist! No one could tell this was a non-traditional recipe either

Christmas Pastels

Wow! I made these as a Christmas gift for our neighbors and they are still raving about them! I used a really chunky sugar (Zulka brand) and drew designs like snowflakes and snowmen on them with simple powdered sugar frosting. So simple, and such a big hit - we'll be making these again in the future... and again and again and again.

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Yum yum yum... excellent, easy way to cook a whole chicken for a slightly ADD couple on a busy Saturday. We found the flavor to be awesome the first day, but WAY to strong the second day on its own - so we made sandwiches, which were also awesome. In the future, however, we'll go lighter on the Worchestire & Soy sauces so that the leftovers are more user-friendly.
