Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
Very moist even though I overcooked it. I sugared the pan and added a few extras to the recipe (nutmeg, choc. chips) and it turned out great. A definate keeper. Thanks Cathy.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2002
Used huge mexican shrimp (more like oversized prawns) and served this up with a mix of oyster & black trumpet mushrooms sauted in olive oil & white wine and a salad. It was superb! Makes alot, though. Guys, this is one to make for your honey on Valentines Day!

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2002
We love this one, but 1 3/4 hrs seems a bit long for the roast. You may want to adjust the cooking time. Otherwise an excellent recipe for pork!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2002
Family really liked them, but I thought they were ok. I tried different recipe and family loves that one too, so I guess they're not as particular as myself. Not the very best but certainly a good cookie.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2002
Bananas would have been better used in a cake, not cakey cookies. They were ok I guess if you like that type of cookie. Flavour was very good but personally did not like texture.

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2001
Have never seen nor made recipe before this. Is is supposed to be really white? I reduced the icing sugar because it was really really sweet so mine turned out kinda greyish brown? Does it mean I need more icing sugar? I used margarine instead of butter and don't know if it makes a difference. They are delicious though, what ever color you get. The worst part about this recipe is that you cannot get Chex cereals in western Canada easily. I used Kellogg's crisp X. It worked great. Excuse me, I have to get back to my snack now....
