Yummy Lemon Coconut Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
Lemon goodness! My first time making lemon loaf...this was a great recipe. Just a few suggestions: Use parchment paper on the bottom of the pan to prevent the loaf from sticking (mine got stuck and the bottom didn't look so pretty when I got it out). Microwave your lemons (about 30 seconds)...you'll get way more juice out of them! Also I could do without the coconut. Didn't really do much for the loaf. Other than that...love this recipe!

Buttermilk Syrup

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
I've made this recipe a few times and I absolutely LOVE it! So easy to make. I always use homemade buttermilk. (there's no point for store-bought buttermilk..it's expensive and I end up not using an entire box) For homemade buttermilk, place 3/4 TBSP vinegar in a measuring cup. Fill it up with milk (I use 2%) up to the 3/4 cup mark. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Sauteed Apples

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
Amazing! So fast and easy to make! I've made this a few times and used whatever apples I had on hand (gala, macintosh, granny smith, golden delicious). I always add a tad bit more cinnamon...approx 1 tsp. Always good to use as waffle or pancake toppings. Delicious!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
This is my go-to recipe for chocolate cake! It's super easy to make and the cake always comes out delicious and moist. I followed others' reviews and used 1 cup of cocoa powder. I've tried the recipe with water + 1tsp coffee and also with just water...either way the cake is great! I wouldn't recommend this recipe to use for cake pops...it's too moist, it won't hold the ball shape at all.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2006
I've used this recipe many times and it's always a hit! Everyone thinks the cake is store bought. I like to use oreo crust and I never use the bath water technique. Don't leave the cake in the oven too long. I only leave it in the oven for about 2-3 hours then let it cool in the fridge. Always comes out amazing! Thanks Chantal!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2006
As suggested before, I use a bit more cocoa powder (1/4 cup) for this recipe. You also don't need the frosting. Instead I sprinkle walnuts and chocolate chips on top and bake for 20 minutes. Great recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2006
These are the most amazing cookies I've ever made! I've made these cookies more than a dozen times and they always turn out great. (I bake them for only 8 minutes.) These cookies also travel well. I've shipped them from Toronto to my brothers in Vancouver. Just make sure you have wax paper in between the layers of cookies. I love these cookies!
