This is the same recipe that I have always grown up with and gotten so many compliments on! I love the crunchiness that the water chestnuts add, and the leek soup as opposed to the vegetable mix just adds a wonderful flavor. The only difference is that I do use the entire package of frozen spinach.

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

This was a delicious recipe! It had great flavor and was a quick, easy meal! I paired it with asparagus seasoned with olive oil and the same seasoning that i just tossed in the pan after the fish cooked. It was a wonderful combo.

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

I was given this recipe for a bridal shower and they were a hit. They have a good variety of veggies and dried fruit which makes you feel pretty good about eating it. Good flavors melding together.

Gnocchi with Sage-Butter Sauce

I combined this recipe with the Quick Gnocchi so that I made it all from scratch. This sauce has good flavor and was quick to make. I will definitely do it again!

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Good cookies! I did not have the maple sugar to put on top, but I did a cinnamon sugar mix and it was good. They were nice and soft, even the next day!

Turkey Lasagna

I thought this was a decent recipe, but I would add more sauce next time, it seemed as if it didn't make quite enough to cover the whole thing. I took the advice of an earlier reviewer and added parmesan cheese to the sauce, maybe it got too thick and that's why it didn't cover everything.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Delicious. The preparation time took longer than I expected it to (an extra 15 minutes or so), but it was worth it in the end. Does anyone have a good technique for scooping them out and not having the skin fall apart? One or two of mine did.

Banana Banana Bread

I thought this was a great recipe, but it was missing something it my opinion. Next time I'd put in some chocolate chips or nuts because there needs to be a little variation in the texture.

Broccoli Cheese Soup III

Good recipe. I use non-fat milk, so I needed to use 1.5-1.75 Tbsp of cornstarch instead of just the 1 called for in order to thicken it up, but it tasted good.

Quick Gnocchi

This is a good recipe. It is a basic recipe for gnocchi that may lack a ton of taste on its own, but it so versitile. When I decide what sauce I want to use, i take some of the flavors from that and add it to the gnocchi (such as sage if I use the Sage Butter Sauce)

Stuffed Acorn Squash Supreme

Easy dish to make for a group of people. I like the squash better when cooked in the oven as opposed to the microwave. If doing it in the microwave, I like scraping out the squash part way though and adding the flesh to the stuffing to make sure the squash flavor is incorporated into the rest of the dish.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Great recipe! The store didn't have much selection in dried fruit so I used dried cranberries and orange zest instead of raisins and it was tasty. My friends all loved it. The cooking time took a little longer for me than stated, about 5 more minutes (20 minutes total)

Kelly's Chicken and Ziti

Good starting point, next time would vary it a little and add more spices and flavors to give it a little kick. My friends and I enjoyed it though, and found it's a good way to get people to eat their broccoli.
