Besides baking and sharing, our Senior Citizens are my most favorite folks...I have the priviledge of sewing our beautiful American Flag. My adoring cat is the only one who will crack a smile when I tell a corny joke. My personal motto is: The cover of a book may be worn and torn, it's the magic inside that awaits us that counts the most. This describes the many unusual people in my life...and I'm very thankful for them! DESSERTS!!! We're a meat and potato kind of folks, so anything with a homey feel. And anything yummy... Like simple and plain dishes, such as bbq ribs, beef and noodles, fried chicken, brownies with peanut butter frosting, homemade cookies, cakes, etc... First come, First served!! And seconds are always welcomed here... We also keep a fire extinguisher nearby.(WINK WINK) Surprisingly, have come up with some very tasty recipes, such as my deluxe scalloped potatoes, fudge, peanut butter icing to name a few. I have had to "bury" a few bombs, most in unmarked graves. What stinkers they were, but very good lessons on what not to do! LOL
