Grilled Cauliflower

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
I just made this with cauliflower and broccoli and used a vegetable grill pan that has holes in it for about five or so minutes tossing once, then put back in the same pan I used to mix, covered with foil on the grill for another 12 or so minutes and it is delicious! So simple, in fact my husband makes his own seasoning mix for grilling and it also has brown sugar in it so I used his seasoning. It was very easy and it tastes so good. Thank you very much for this recipe!

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This one is a keeper! Made garlic bread to go with it. The flavors are really good! I only added 1 can of tomato sauce to the meat, and 1 tsp of Italian seasonings. We all make our own little tweeks, but it doesn't change the fact that this is a great recipe! Thank you for sharing!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
My 17 yr old step son really liked this. The recipe tasted similar to a taco hamburger helper which is tasty and a change. Very much like the cheesy home made version of hamburger helper I make. But I think I will substitute salsa next time to spice it up, maybe mix in some of the cheese w the mixture before topping, and eliminate the chips. It was quick and easy to make too.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Fabulous recipe, a cake like cookie w the wonderful flavors of chocolate and nuts with each and every bite. I used cheese cake flavored pudding bc the store was out of sweetened vanilla, and you can't tell. I also doubled the vanilla and they are wonderful, but no changes are really needed. I used parchment paper so they didn't spread, and you may half the recipe or freeze half of the dough for later. It truly makes a lot of cookies which is great. The husband and everyone (family for Thanksgiving) said they are perfect more than once. Thank you so much for this extra ordinary cookie recipe!!

Cajun Crawfish and Shrimp Etouffe

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
Very good recipe, and fun to cook! I couldn't find fish stock, so I used oyster sauce (oriental isle), and added some water to make it more fluid. Didn't use the hot sauce, and it was still slightly spicy. I figured that can be added individually. The flavors were wonderful and the vegetables great! I am looking forward to using variations with sausage, etc. Will definitely cook again!! :)

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
Cooked this recipe tonight and it was a real hit! The family said it is a keeper!! I doubled the dressing, and used one can of garlic cream of mushroom soup, and one regular. The flavors are very good! I didn't measure the seasonings, just went by instinct using Italian seasonings also etc, and added just enough water to the soup to make it slightly fluid so it stayed on the dressing. Tasted divine! :)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Just made this recipe tonight and my family loved it, and went for seconds. I formed the meat loaf in a baking dish, in order to drain during cooking, and put the sauce on top which stayed nicely. I would probably add adtl seasonings in the meat next time, and a bit less brown sugar in the sauce. But over all it was delicious!

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
My family loved this recipe! I flattened the chicken breast, and just nicely coated them with the mixture which did not seep out. There was a little of the mixture left, so I brushed it over each chicken wrap, and the chicken was not bland without adtl seasonings. Loved it, can not wait to try variations with this recipe.
