Thin Mint Cookies
My son's wife threatened to beat me up when I took the few left over home. Only thing I changed, I did not add the butter to the semisweet chocolate for the coating.

Bev's Chocolate Pie
My son asked Me to bring two Chocolate Pies over for Thanksgiving. I picked this recipe. I followed the directions exactly as written. His Mother (the EX) and everyone else raved about how good these pies were. The Ex actually thought I bought the pies from a bakery. Thank You, and yes I will make again. For those who heat the filling before adding the egg. You can take 1/4 cup or so of the hot filling and slowly mix into the eggs. Then pour the egg mixture into the hot filling. This will prevent the egg pieces from floating in the filling. However it is easier just to follow the recipe, and add the eggs to the filling before heating.

Steakhouse Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine
When I am at the local Steakhouse I usually fill up on the mini loafs, before the steak even arrives. So, when I found this recipe I HAD to try it. I have made this recipe several times as listed, and each time it was great. Then I changed it just a little, first since I am single I halved the recipe, and still used the breadmachine... still great. Then I changed the honey for molasses, even better. Then just started using the breadmachine to mix the dough, and used mini loaf pans to bake in... now with a herb crusted steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled veggies... I no longer have to go to the steakhouse.
