Soft Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2002
These had a great flavor but were a bit heavy for some reason. My family enjoyed them though! I didn't want my parmesan toasted so I just put the butter and parmesan on after bringing out of the oven-yum!

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2002
This was very yummy! Very close to the flavor of Cracker Barrel's. I kept having to double-check the recipe to make sure I didn't have to pre-fry the hashbrowns! I was skeptical that not frying them would result in a bland dish, but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it turned out! Also, I used cream of celery soup as I'm a vegetarian, and it turned out wonderfully. Thanks!

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2001
Incredible! These buns are so tender and delicious! I didn't have the pudding so I left it out and they were awesome without it-don't know how they could've been any better.

Candied Fruit Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2001
Very yummy! A subtle anise flavor and very festive with the candied fruit! Super easy to make-dough a little sticky though. Had to heavily flour work surface and hands....worth the effort!

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2001
Outstanding cookie. My husband pouted when he discovered I was taking them to neighbor's for Christmas gifts-I had to bag them quickly before he ate them all! Very nice flavor and texture-a real keeper! I made the recommended flour, cocoa and salt adjustments also.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2001
Excellent cheesecake! I took it to a luncheon and people were assuming it was store-bought! One lady said she was a cheesecake expert and said it was the best she'd ever had! I did the water bath and baked at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, then lowered the temp to 300 for 50 minutes, cooling in the oven for 5 hours. No cracks, no browning at all! The only flaw I had was that I poured my vanilla on top of the unmixed flour, resulting in brown clumps that wouldn't blend in. Otherwise it was perfect. I used a different crust: 1 c. graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup melted marg, 1/4 cup sugar. Thanks Chantal!
