Excellent cheesecake! I took it to a luncheon and people were assuming it was store-bought! One lady said she was a cheesecake expert and said it was the best she'd ever had! I did the water bath and baked at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, then lowered the temp to 300 for 50 minutes, cooling in the oven for 5 hours. No cracks, no browning at all! The only flaw I had was that I poured my vanilla on top of the unmixed flour, resulting in brown clumps that wouldn't blend in. Otherwise it was perfect. I used a different crust: 1 c. graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup melted marg, 1/4 cup sugar. Thanks Chantal!
