this was amazing! i used a 3 lbs roast, a bag of baby carrots, and cut small red potatoes in half, also added two onions that i just cut into 4 as they fall apart on their own as the roast cooks. I used all kinds a spice on the meat, montreal seasoning, garlic powder n salt, ground pepper, and i continued to season it as it cooked. it turned out just a little spicy but thats how we like it :) i also used beef broth instead of water for extra flavor. after it cooked about 6 hours i removed everything but the juice, put it in a skillet and added flour to make gravy for it! Served with salad and cresent rolls and will make again! The leftovers I threw back into crockpot with more broth (1 can) and the gravy and cooked overnight into a stew that i froze
