I have horrible luck with baking, and last year I made a round of failed pumpkin cookies and breads, but this cake-like snack actually turned out well! It's not exactly a finger food, though. I like it just fine without the icing!

Curried Pumpkin Soup

This is quite tasty and I'm impressed by the low calories and fat. I was expecting it to be a bit creamier though, texture-wise. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't puree it long enough, or if that's just the way it is. Quite yummy!

Creamy Corn Chowder

Yummy! I didn't use silken tofu so it wasn't as creamy as I expected but that was probably just my fault for buying the wrong kind. I love this with cornbread!

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Love it! My boyfriend requests this all the time, it's his favorite, and I like it too! I've used pre-crushed garlic in a jar, and it works just as well, although I usually use more. I find buying Italian seasoned breadcrumbs is easier and tastier than seasonsing the breadcrumbs yourself. I usually only marinate it for an hour or so as well, and it's still just great!

Easy Company Chicken

Wow! This is unbelivably easy and so very, very yummy! I've made this several times and it's always great and very quick. I usually add a bit more curry than usual, because I love the flavor. I find myself licking up every last bit of the sauce!

Cheesy Potato Kugel

This is awesome! My boyfriend is Jewish and I make this when he's homesick for traditional food. Even the first time I made it, he said it's as good as any kugel he's ever had, and asks me to make it all the time! I made it for Easter dinner and my Mom and brother loved it too, it was gone right away and now she wants to make it. My only complaint is how long it takes to make- shredding 3 lbs of potatoes is hard work! I wonder if frozen hash browns would be okay in it?
