Creme Brulee French Toast
I made this recipe for Easter brunch. It was very yummy. I did read reviews beforehand and made a couple changes but next time I will follow the recipe as is with the exception of leaving the crust on the bread and adding orange peel like the video indicated. I had made it with one less egg and only 1 cup of cream. Didn't think it had enough egg mixture so that goes to show you sometimes you should just follow the recipe. I didn't have any orange based liqueur so used just regular brandy. The french toast came out crispy and yummy, Thanks Sandipants!

Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing
Very good. Like some of the others, I baked the fish. For the dressing I used a 7 oz container of plain greek yogurt, 1 tbl. of the Adobo sauce, (because of other reviews that said the dressing was way too hot, can't imagine what it tastes like with 1/2 cup) juice of half a lime (probably 1 Tbl) and the other ingredients same measurements. I served it with bagged coleslaw and sliced avocados. Next time I will try it with grouper. A keeper.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp
OH! Yum! Yum! A wonderful neighbor brought over some homemade pesto today so I tried this recipe and my family loved it! I used Parmesan/Romano cheese and topped the dish with a spice I got at a local spice store, Penzeys Spices. The spice called "Black and Red" is a combination of Tellicherry black pepper and Cayenne red pepper. It gave the dish a nice kick. If you are interested the spice can be found at www.penzeys.com.
