White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
Wow...these were even better than I thought they would be. I was curious to see how the white chocolate and cranberries would work together but what a great combo! Cookies came out perfect! I have made them a few times already for different Christmas events.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
Tasted good but a little heavy for my tastes...my husband loved it though. Next time I think I will try the butter spray and maybe cut down on the amount of parmesan. I used real shredded parm instead of grated...that might have made a difference too?

Round Steak and Gravy II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2005
Awesome flavor but my steak came out dry...I think this would be perfect done in a slow cooker or else using a more tender type of steak. I didn't have french onion soup on hand so I used cream of mushroom and golden mushroom. Great Gravy!

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2005
Wow! This was really really good. I made it without the nuts and just rolled in more mini choc chips. Combined with the graham sticks it tastes like little tiny cheesecake bites...only it was so much easier to make and PERFECT for parties. If you want something different for a get together you gotta try this.

Cream Cheese Ranch Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
Really good, esp. if you like ranch. They were a little heavy even after cutting the butter in half. Next time I may sub in milk for the cream cheese as that may take care of it. But excellent recipe...definately a keeper.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
Really good...I think I must have used too much mayo though because it really tasted like mayo. Luckily I love mayo so it wasn't a problem. Definately should try this if you like moist chicken.

Green Beans for a Special Occasion

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2004
Pretty good...has a very subtle flavor and is very easy to make. I steamed the beans in a steamer and then just tossed with the heated ingredients. It would probably be good with some crumbled bacon thrown in too.

Chocolate Thumbprints II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
These are a must for chocolate lovers. Made them with my 4 year old daughter and they turned out great. The only change we made was that we did not roll the balls in egg whites...the sugar had no problem sticking to the dough without it and the sugar gave it a slightly crispy outside while the inside stayed moist. YUMMY! We made them for Christmas and used red and green sugar sprinkles.

Skillet Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
Pretty good...although I used a combo of 1/2 balsamic vinegar and 1/2 Marsala wine and cut way back on the oregano as I don't like a strong oregano flavor. But it was something a little different when you are tired of the same old chicken and I love sauteed onions!

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2004
Pretty good! We served it at room temperature with italian bread since we had some people that didn't like garlic at our party...I will try again making it as garlic bread and I think it will taste even better!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
Yummy! These had the perfect amount of chocolate and were the perfect "cookie" consistency--chewy and not too cakelike! If you love chocolate you must try these! Santa requested a chocolate chocolate chip cookie and he was a happy camper on Christmas Eve.

Easy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
Pretty good...although I have a low-cal/low-fat recipe for banana bread that I like better....I guess I prefer a lighter taste...this was really good but richer than I am used too.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2003
Oh my goodness this is good...my husband hates ricotta cheese so I decided to try this for a dinner party and it was a huge hit with him and my guests....not too heavy or too light...perfect combo and the cheeses combine to mimick ricotta...it was awesome! I am so glad I stumbled onto this recipe and I will use it over and over again. I also want to try to make a healthier version with whole wheat ziti, reduced fat sour cream, soy crumbles, less cheeses and a lower fat sauce...I bet it will taste good too!

YUM!! You must love peanut butter to enjoy these....my husband loved them but thought there should be more chocolate to it. I personally wouldn't change anything though!
