Stuffing! I've attempted all different kinds of stuffing and either it turns out burnt or soggy! I finally mastered it this year at Thanksgiving (with my moms help) I used a reciped from Allrecipes and it turned out great!
My cooking tragedies
Turkey meatloaf... it was awful, soggy and just plain disgusting (sorry to my family who smiled through it!)

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch
I made this today and overall it is a great recipe though I altered a few things based on other reviews: I halved the crunchy topping and it is definitely more than enough after doing so, though next time I would reduce the butter at least by half. I also reduced the amount of sugar to 3/4 of a cup and this was still TOO sweet, next time I will reduce the sugar by half or even more, maybe 1/3 cup even. Lastly, I upped the flour to 5 tbsp as I like a thicker filling. A great base recipe that can easily be altered based on your own likes/dislikes.

The Best Lemon Bars
This recipe was great, exactly what I was looking for, simple and delicious. Having made it a few times now, I changed a few things to my liking: First I love a really lemony taste so I added the juice of 3 lemons, added the zest of 2 of the lemons to the dry ingredients and upped the flour to 1/3 cup to make up for the extra liquid. The crust is simply perfect just as it is, buttery and melts in your mouth. Also, just for a change instead of squares, I made this recipe in a tart pan and cut in into thin triangles. Truly a great lemon bar and proves my theory that most times the recipes with simplest of ingredients are absolutely the best! Thanks for a fantastic lemon bar recipe, it's my stand-by and the one I will recommend to others!

Golden Sweet Cornbread
I made this last night to go with a big pot of beef stew, though I varied it a bit to make it a bit more healthy: I substituted whole wheat flour for the white, halfed the sugar ( it still turned out plenty sweet ) and I melted 1/3 cup of light becel in place of the vegetale oil. The texture was perfect, and the kids gobbled up 2 pieces each! Thanks for the great recipe, I will definitely be using it again!
