Maple Salmon

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
really delicious, thanks for sharing. my variations to the recipe: - I didn't mince garlic, I just crushed a garlic clove and added to the marinate so it can be easily removed before cooking. - I added to the marinate some fresh ginger root (about 1 inch) cutted in small stripes, I removed the ginger before serving. - I didn't use garlic salt in the marinade but I sprinkled few salt flakes on the salmon just before serving.

Savory Zucchini Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
this is a really good recipe. Muffins are tasty, moist and fragrant. I strictly followed the recipe except for the red peppers I can't eat; I substituted them with about 70 grams of minced speck, a typical italian smoked prosciutto. as others suggested I mixed the parmigiano cheese into the batter. I'll do these again!

Candy Cane Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
I suggest to refrigerate the dough and roll only small portion of it at the time, this will help in handling the dough and avoid the "melting". I find also usefull refrigerate the cookies 5/10 minutes before baking them, this help in keeping cookies shape

Spooky Halloween Eyeballs

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
I followed some advices from other users: I added some rice krispies to peanut butter and I didn't use shortening to melt chocolate. In addition I didn't deep the balls into melted chocolate but I put each ball on a fork and keeping it over the bowl I pour the chocolate with a spoon and then I pushed the ball off the fork on wax paper, certainly this method takes more time but is a cleaner way to cover the "eyes" with the chocolate.
