Mapled Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
My ham would have turned out better if I had made slices that criss cross over the top of the ham so that while basting, the mixture from the stove would have baked within the ham more. I only forked the top, which is why it turned out bland. The skin was the only flavorful part of the ham.

Almond Buttercrunch Candy I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
Make sure you grease your cookie sheet well. After the candy was set, I had to use a metal spatula to remove it from the cookie sheet - it came off well. I keep it in the refrigerator and by the second day it was perfect. I did not use the last bit of almonds at the end of the recipe either. You do need to let it sit on the stove with a mild boil for a bit before the 'syrup' finally beads up in the cold water. Love this candy - tastes like I spent a lot of money on it!!

Potatoes Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
It was good, but would have been better w/o so much 'sauce'.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
I gave this 3 stars because its' appearance didn't turn out like I had hoped; glazed and brown. But, I am happy with how it tasted. It was flavorful and my family liked it. They even ate the leftovers I had later.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
Recipe makes 2 pies. I bought one graham cracker crust and one oreo crust, pre-made in tins; the best is the oreo crust in my opinion. My family was definitly surprised at how yummy this turned out, as was I! Easy to make and good to eat! So glad the recipe was for 2 pies!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
These didn't turn out for me. I used a gas stove so I don't know if that may have been a factor? I kept baking and baking these and they never did set for me. The consistency tasted good, but it just wouldn't bake for me.

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
This turned out good. If you look at my picture, the changes I would make is to not have it so thick. There was lots of sausage, but not enough gravy. Very good recipe though regardless!

Chicken Spaghetti II

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2012
I felt it was to cheesy and not enough chile and tomato. But my bf said it wasn't cheesy enough - go figure! I would probably add some milk to make it creamy, because once it set it was sticky. Otherwise this was good and got really good reviews from my family.

This was good for the moment it was made. Overall I thought it was okay.

Apple Crisp with Oat Topping

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
This is good, but I messed up initially by forgetting to add in the flour, so I made the topping again (after putting the first topping on) and included flour the second time around. Still turned out good though.

Chocolate Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
Not bad. Make sure the graham crackers are finely crushed thoroughly. I'm not a huge fan of semi-sweet chocolate and is probably the reason why I rated it 3 stars. I probably won't make this exact recipe again, if I do I'll change it up in some way.
