About this Cook
I'm just a mother who is trying to cook the best foods for her kids.
My favorite things to cook
Indian food
My favorite family cooking traditions
None really. Well, there is that cast iron pan that's been handed down for generations, but I'm hoping it will be a while before I get my hands on that.
My cooking triumphs
I have perfected my carrot cake.
My cooking tragedies
Fudge

Wasabi Yellowfin Tuna
This is a wonderful recipe that I follow almost exactly. The only thing I do differently is save the excess mayo mix and dip the fish into again right before searing.

Pumpkin Bread IV
This recipe is fantastic, but instead of using canned pumpkin I used two small pie pumpkins instead. The results are to die for!

Baked Oatmeal II
I found it to be way too sweet. I'm going to try 1/2 cup of brown sugar next time. When I made mine I omitted the raisins and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and homemade whipped cream. DELISH!
