Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler
This was **exactly** as I'd hoped it would be. I have friends from Montgomery, Ala., and they made the best peach cobbler and this reminds me of it, which was what I wanted. I didn't think it was too sweet at all. I followed the recipe to the letter, except that I doubled the topping, because I like a thicker top and it was a MAJOR hit for a party, even though my husband accidentally turned the oven off and I had to re-bake it. It is officially a go-to family classic. PERFECT.

Thera's Canadian Fried Dough
O.M.G. - I am from Albany, NY, and every year we would go to the Capital for the 4th of July e fireworks and would *always* get fried dough. Now that I live in Utah, you absolutely cannot get this *anywhere*. No one has ever heard of it. I found this recipe and tried today (July 4th) for the first time. My husband and kids were AMAZED. We all ate at least 4 pieces, covered in cinnamon and sugar and we all agreed it was BETTER than what you get from the 4th of July vendors. My one change was this: we shaped the dough as the recipe said and found it was too thick to cook properly, so we shaped it into ovals and then smooshed it out with our hands until the pieces looked more like thick tortillas and they cooked up *perfectly*. It has instantly become our new go-to 4th of July tradition.

Fabulous Homemade Bread
Ok, NOTHING I"ve ever made from this site, while good, was enough to prompt me to write a review = but I've made bread pretty frequently and I almost always mess it up (too hard or too dry etc.) but this recipe was absolutely amazing to the point that even I did it correctly and our bread turned out AMAZING. The only thing that I did differently was that I halved the recipe. I did everything else the way it was written and made 3 wonderful, fluffy loaves. THANK YOU!
