Sugar Cookie Frosting

Golden Sweet Cornbread

We loved this. I doubled the recipe and added a small can of diced fired roasted green chilis, chopped jalepeno and a can of whole kernal corn(drained). Very good. Thanks!

We loved this. I didn't have enough filling for all 24 tortillas or enough enchilada sauce. I suppose it was just the way I was putting them together. What a really great way to use your leftover thanksgiving turkey. I'll use this for chicken too.

Turkey Posole

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds with Sugar and Spice

This is such a great recipe for pumpkin seeds. I left my seeds on the counter over night and I still toasted in the oven for 35min. I did double the recipe. I gutted 2 pumpkins which gave me 2 cups of seeds exactly.I just loved the flavor of the pumpkin spice. I made them for a Halloween party that is 2 days away and I hope they last that long! Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I really loved this recipe for the taste and simplicity. I used a mexican style beer called Chill. I didn't have chili beans so I used black eyed peas. I didn't have diced tomatos so I used stewed. I used Taco Bell taco seasoning. It was so good. We crushed up some tortilla chip into it while eating. Thank you!

Mexican Rice III

I loved this rice. I didn't have any green pepper but it was still really a great recipe. I will be making this any time I make Mexican food. I will never get Mexican(or Spanish) rice out of a box again.

Lemon Pecan Pound Cake

This was a big hit with my friends and family. I made small bundt cakes with the pecans baked into only the top. Drizzled with the lemon icing, it was really pretty and delicious. I also dusted the serving dish with powdered sugar.

Hot Chocolate Mix I
