Kentucky Biscuits

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
I made this recipe twice to make sure I wasn't messing anything up and they just did not come out the way they should have. I found them to be very thick and the 15 minute baking time must be incorrect because both times I made them I had to extend the baking time by almost double and they were still a little doughy. I can't imagine what is wrong. Oh well, thanks anyway.

Raisin Sour Cream Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
Very easy. We really liked the taste of the filling in these bars. Very nice looking when they're cut up and served. I did have to bake for a full 21 minutes after the time given of 20 minutes. Also I had to use fat free sour cream because its what I had and they still were delish.

Pumpkin Chili Mexicana

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2006
This is a very quick and easy recipe. I did use canned pinto beans instead of the kidney. For my familys taste I doubled the chili powder and cumin, then added some red pepper flakes. I guess we just needed a bit more spice. Thanks for the recipe. It's a keeper for us.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
This was so delicious. We just really loved it. My kids didn't even put ketchup on it! Didn't have curry, used garlic pepper. These were some great flavors. I stopped going to the store for chicken and started going to a butcher where I buy free range, antibiotic and hormone free chicken. If you have a chance to go to a butcher do it. We can really taste the difference. Thanks for this recipe. It's a definate keeper.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
I thought this sounded so good but when I started it up I realized I had no sage so I used thyme and I had no beef bouillon so I used chicken broth. Let me tell ya, it was still very good. I can't wait to make it the way it was intended. Thanks
