Cinnamon-Sugar Popcorn

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
This is pretty yummy! I used 4 bags of microwave popcorn because that is what I had in my pantry. I melted the butter in the microwave, added the sugar and ONLY 1 tsp of cinnamon, I thought 2 tsp seemed like too much, omitted the salt since I used the microwave popcorn and decided it wouldn't need any extra salt. I stirred in the sugar and cinnamon, microwave for 30 seconds stirred and then 30 seconds more and it was still pretty thick and sugary, so I added approx. 1 Tbls milk to thin the mixture and it turned out perfect, added the vanilla...pored over the popcorn in the roaster, stirred to coat and popped it in the oven. Turned out perfect...2 tsp of cinnamon may have worked but I didn't want it to be bitter so I cut back. Next time I may try 2 tsp as called in the recipe.

Banana Cake X

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
Had guests over toniht and had RAVE reviews...very moist. I drizzled vanila glaze over and used buttermilk to replace the milk and lemon juice mixture, also used a vanilla cake mix because that's all I had on hand. Will make again for sure, good way to use up bananas instead of the same old banana bread.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2012
My family loved this casserole. I made a few changes to use what I had on hand; cream of chicken soup, a few added veggies that I had from a veggie tray..celery, carrots and pea pods. I also used a whole box of low sodium Stove Top Stuffing for chicken and drizzled 1/4 c. melted butter over all since I used more dressing mix and didn't want it to be dry. Awesome!

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
I followed the recipe for the most part but used red onion and added in the chicken flavor packet from the Ramen noodle package and cut the soy sauce back so it would not be too salty...wonderful salad!

Skin-on Savory Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
Followed the recipe, added a bit more sour cream because we like our potatoes on the creamy side. Nice not having to peel potatoes and much healthier. Thanks for the recipe.
