I really loved this and so did my family. I made this twice! for Thanksgiving since I go to my parents and then my in laws. At my parents I made it as stated in the recipe although I did add 3 cream cheese bars as suggested by reviewers and I also baked the first layer of dough for a few minutes. I melted the butter for the topping and mixed it with the sugar and cinnamon. This made it spreadable over the top layer, it came out wonderful. Everyone kept asking what it was and how I made it. For my in laws I made a sugar free version since my m-i-l is diabetic. I simply added splenda to the cream cheese instead of sugar and for the top layer I only coated it with a bit of melted butter and then sprinkled cinnamon all over, no sugar that also was very tasty, everyone ate it even the kids. I only feel that the cream cheese is a bit mushy although no one seemed to mind or notice but I almost want some cheesecake consistency to it, wondering if adding and egg would help? I might mess with that a lil bit ;)
