Baked Penne w/ Sausage
About this Cook
I am a very beginner cook looking for simple, easy, peanut/nut-free recipes to make for two.
My favorite things to cook
Baking, although I am not yet good enough to do it totally from scratch (but I'd like to learn!)

Prego(R) Easy Skillet Chicken Parm
This was very good + very easy to make! I added a bit more sauce then what was required, to go alone with the noodles I made as a side. I couldn't find Italian Prego sauce, so I used regular spaghetti sauce from my fridge + added an assortment of spices, and it tasted great! The sauce really retained the taste of the chicken well and was delicious on top of noodles. I'm always kind of afraid to make chicken dishes, but this one I will definitely try again in the future!

Steak Subs
This was not at all what I expected - in a good way! I'm not one for soy sauce, but my boyfriend is, so I decided to give this a try. I added some worchestershire sauce and Montreal steak spice into the mix as well. It smells WAY overpowering at first, but after grilling it tasted a lot better then I expected - hardly soy sauce-y! Will definitely be using this recipe again in the future - I feel like it would work really well for a stir fry, too.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops
This was really, really delicious! I added a bit more lemon juice (closer to half a cup), because I really like strong lemon flavours, and a bit of garlic salt with the other spices. They turned out fantastic! We cooked them on a George Foreman grill + didn't baste them while grilling, and they still had a very strong lemon/garlic taste. Marinated for about 16-18 hours. Will definitely makes this again!
