Green Tomato Cake

It is ridiculous how good this is. It's making me ask random people if they grow tomatoes so I can give them the recipe. I blended the tomatoes in the food processor before salting & draining, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Next year I'll be picking green tomatoes during the summer just to make this cake.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Do NOT be scared to do this! I've never made a rib roast before, and this recipe's maiden voyage for me was as the star of a dinner party. It truly is foolproof provided you follow the directions. I only wish I'd bought a bigger roast. I will never make ham for Christmas again. This is so easy and delicious... this is the way to go!

Basil Butter

This is SUPER yummy. I replaced the garlic salt with a couple cloves of garlic. This would be a great way to use up fresh basil if you have an over-abundance.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is great. Our friends always request it for parties & practically lick the crock pot clean when it's gone. I omit the cheese since so many people have commented that it makes the dip greasy.

World's Best Lasagna

This is the best. Worth the time every once in a while. Good to make the sauce a day or so ahead of time if you work & plan on having this on a weeknight.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

These. Are. Awesome. We actually omit the peanut butter cups altogether because the last thing my fat gut needs is peanut butter cups on top of the chocolate & peanut butter chips. This does not detract from the yummy goodness whatsoever.

Greek Chicken Pasta

Love this. I would say a half pound of pasta is the most you'll need, and it definitely needed the liquid from the artichokes. I also used more feta than the recipe called for (because I'm a cheese freak). This will be a regular staple!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

This is a GREAT recipe for sweet potatoes! Rave reviews & no leftovers. It's now my job to bring sweet potatoes to Thanksgiving every year! My husband, who has never cared for sweet potatoes, had 4 helpings!! I made this ahead of time & popped in the oven to warm right before dinner. Travels well!

Thai Noodles with Chicken

This is a great dish! It didn't take a lot of time, & it isn't heavy at all. The only change I would make next time would be to set aside a bit more marinade for the dressing. The marinade is excellent! I will definitely use it in other ways.... a great find! Thanks!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

I made this recipe as-is, & got a great reaction, even from a pretty picky 11 year old! It is better than many beef meatloaf recipes I've used, & is almost better reheated the next day. It was really easy to make & we'll definitely have it again!
