If possible, I would have given this recipe more stars. YUM. Tofu will never be the same after this recipe! I highly recommend taking the suggestion of roasting the tofu slices prior. I roasted mine at 400 degrees until both sides were brown. I also added a layer of ricotta to mine and cooked this in a loaf pan so I could stack the tofu instead of having just one layer. I did a thin layer of tomato sauce, then the breaded, cooked tofu, a thin layer of ricotta, tomato sauce, another tofu layer, and topped this with tomato sauce and the mozz and parm cheeses as instructed (Layered like a lasagna I suppose). To simplify, I used a jar of preseasoned tomato sauce (roasted garlic) and this came out beautifully. Thank you Jill!
