Light Wheat Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
These are fabulous rolls. I didn't go through the extra labor of spiraling the dough, I just made 20 equal sized balls and set them onto a cookie sheet and slit an x on the top of each one for decoration. I bought some to the restaurant where I work and the chef thought I bought them at the bakery. Not sure if I should be pleased or insulted.. ;) Thanks for the recipe Katrina!

Yumm-o! By FAR the best oatmeal cookie I've made and/or eaten! I did half chocolate chip and half Craisins.. the craisin ones were best! Thanks for the recipe.. it will be going in my keepers!

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Sometimes the most simple recipes are the best tasting! I added a bit of sea salt, fresh cracked pepper and used dry minced garlic. They turned out delicious and my taste buds were anything but bored!

Denise's Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2006
This was absolutely delicious! I took advice from other users and used the peanut butter instead of the peanuts because I don't like the texture of nuts once they have been warmed. A little goes a long way for the cilantro.. it's flavour is very prominent in this recipe.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 6, 2006
These wings were quite a bit of work.. but if you're looking for a good "honey garlic" type wing, then these are for you. My hubby likes his wings more salty than sweet, and had a hard time getting through sweet and sticky wings... I on the other hand had no problem eating his leftovers ;)

Homemade Banana Pudding Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
My husband requested this pie but didn't like it when he got it.. it tasted like extremely ripe banana mush

Banana Walnut Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
OK... totally not what I was expecting! I should have realized when the only sweet ingredient was 2 tbsp of honey. If you are looking for a sweet bread.. this isn't it. The whole thing went into the trash, it was dry and bland.

They were good, but we had to eat them up quickly since they went stale pretty quick

Kabob Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
Absolutely fantastic... I served these at a BBQ last summer and one of the guests who is a chef asked me for the recipe! Didn't change a thing except marinated the veggies as well :)

Cheesy Potato Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
I'm not sure what I was expecting.. but this wasn't it... but my guests said it was good, so either my taste buds were off or they were just being polite!

Cinnamon Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2004
Ohh, melt in your mouth. It makes me wonder why cinnamon cookies aren't as common as others, these are definetly a favorite in my family.

Butterscotch Brownies III

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2004
Something went horribly horribly wrong with this recipe. I made one batch, and they turned out so-so, although I had the same problem with the sides being way higher than the center. I decided to make a second batch so that my son could take some to school for Valentines Day, and I have no idea what happened, because the center didn't rise at all!! I can't think of what I did differently! My advice is, if you try this recipe, follow the direction to a 'T', is seems to be very touchy!

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2003
My whole family really liked these wings, although my husband found them a bit on the "too sweet" side, but ate them up none the less. Make sure you spray the pan with non-stick spray though, it makes for one nasty baked-on crust.

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2003
These were delicious! Even my blueberry hating 5 year old devoured a couple. I used margarine instead of butter and omitted the salt, plus I used homo milk instead of the buttermilk. These muffins don't rise much, so you really have to overload the paper cups to get the big crusty top that make the muffin!

Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

We found the cake very dry, this was my first time making shortcake, so either I did something wrong or I'm not a big shortcake fan!

Orange Cream Cookie Mix

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2002
cookie turned out moist and chewvy, but I would flatten the balls if I ever made then again, they were a bit too puffy and took alwhile to cook through the centre...I wasn't fussy on the flavour of the white chocolate chips in there though, I would probably go for chocolate next time (it might look nicer through the jar as well)
