Honey-Brined Fried Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
It was pretty good. I used only 1/8 c salt in the brine. Then I used garlic & onion powders instead of salt in the flour dredge. Turned out nice and tender with good flavor.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I made this cake today and boy was it great! I did make one change- instead of water, I used a few others' suggestions and used 1 cup of strong coffee. It really enhanced the flavor of the cake and it was so moist. I also only filled each pan 1/2 full and had a bit of batter left, so made a few cupcakes. I iced it with vanilla butter creme frosting, and just left it as a 2 layer cake. My family (even my 15 month old) loved it! Thanks for this awesome recipe! It's a definite keeper!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2013
I followed the advice of a few other readers and used 1 1/3 cup milk, but I didn't have enough parmesan cheese, so I used grated mozarella too. It was very creamy and had great flavor, but a bit too much garlic for my husband loved it though, so it's a keeper. Next time I may cut the garlic in half and make sure I have enough parmesan. Great recipe, and you can't taste the cream cheese- easy super to make too.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
So scrumptious! They are fluffy, just the right texture and so easy to make! I took other reader's advice and used a 9x13 pan to bake them in and they turned out wonderfully! I can never roll cinnamon rolls correctly and always cut them really badly, and I did the same here too, but when they rose in the pan they all ended up the same size and looked devine! I have always used my mom's old fashioned recipe for years, where I have to let the dough raise, punch it down and let it raise again, which is fine, but takes forever (and the rolls sometimes end up dry), but this recipe took a lot less time, were very easy to make and are just delicious! My 4 year old shared one with me too and said they are the best cinnamon rolls I ever made! (I had some cream cheese frosting for them too, but I ate mine without it because they are just that good!) Thanks for this awesome recipe!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2012
I made this today...I omitted the milk like several others had suggested, I added 1/4 cup extra peanut butter and made my own graham cracker crust. Also topped with chocolate shavings. It was very good with the changes made.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
This pie is the BEST chocolate pie I have ever made and tasted! I followed other reviewers advice, and I used 4 yolks and 4 heaping Tbs of cornstarch, and also only used 2 3/4 cup milk (I used 2%). It was so chocolatey, thick and sweet. My family loved it! And it never got watery like other homemade pudding pie recipes I've made. This is definitely my go to chocolate pie recipe! Thanks so much Cecil for submitting it!
