Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I was really looking forward to making this tonight. I bought the cheese, bread, ham and apple and brought them home. I found that the sour cream had expired and someone had eaten the pecans. I used Helman's Mayo and substituted Hidden Valley Lite Ranch for the sour cream. I used some almonds and cashews instead of the pecans and did the rest as per recipe. They turned out GREAT. My wife and I loved them. I can't wait to make them again...I just wonder if I will use the recipe as suggested or make it with the substitutions I used tonight. Thanks!

Thai Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
I read the other reviews and I did sauté half of the red pepper in the initial oil. I chopped the peanuts fairly fine as well. When I made the sauce, I added 2 tbsp of Apricot preserves as well as the other ingredients. I served this over rice noodles and the whole family loved it.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
Made it with the Japanese Sesame beans like Ryann did and added the Mandarin oranges as well and it turned out GREAT. I used Pork loins not chops and they were about an inch thick so they had to brown and bake a little longer, but overall a great meal!

Jiffy Jambalaya

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
We loved this. I added Andouille sausage to make it more authentic and I also added 1 pound of medium uncooked shrimp. I substituted red, orange and yellow peppers for the green one and used 1.5 cups instead of 1/2 cup. It turned out GREAT!!!
