To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, but I didn't use a lot of topping on mine. Others complained of their muffins falling and I wanted to make sure mine didn't. Next time I'll use more topping for a sweeter muffin. I did cut my blueberries into fours. Mine were really large. Quickly, a household favorite!

Creamed Spinach III

I'm giving it 4 stars because I didn't follow the recipe exact, but it turned out delicious! I chopped the spinach before cooking by hand. I sauted a little bit of onion, added cream, butter, 1/2 of nutmeg, and salt. (I had to substitute milk/butter for heavy cream since I didn't have any on hand). I also added cream cheese. Brought the mixture to a boil while the spinach was steaming. Added it all together, brought to boil, added parm cheese on top and . . . yummy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I gave it 4 stars because I made it exactly according to recipe, but I added a few spices to the crock pot - I thought it was good, my husband thought it was ok, nothing spectacular. I'll make it again, but it won't be all the time

S'More Bars I

I followed other reviews and used half flour and half graham cracker crumbs. I used Hershey bars broken up for the chocolate and followed the rest of the recipe exactly. My household LOVED it, it was gone in two days and they were asking for more. It wasn't as messy as others said - we ate some warm and then some the next day and both tasted great to us - will definitely make again.

Grilled Shrimp and Chicken Pasta

WOW - I just had family over and made this on a whim . . . I didn't have heavy cream so I had to sub milk/butter and I did had cornstarch to thicken up the sauce. It was really good - but next time I'll double the sauce, I had lots of past left over, no chicken, a little bit of shrimp, but no sauce and we all could have used a little more with our meals. This was really good and I'll def keep this on my list.

Chocolate Chip Cake Bars

This recipe is FAST, EASY and DELICIOUS! My family doesn't like nuts, so I left them out and subed more choc. chips instead. We loved them, even my picky husband. You gotta try it.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

YUMMY! I took other's advice and and used Ritz crackers and put some of the brown sugar and ketchup on top. I made the mistake of putting extra brown sugar and ketchup on top so it came out a little sweet - next time I won't use extra, I'll split what the recipe calls for. This is definitely a recipe that is going in my books.

Banana Crumb Muffins

I'm obviously in the minority here or maybe I did something wrong, but I didn't think these muffins were fabulous. They were good, but I probably won't even make them again. The topping was good - I might use this topping on another recipe.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

These were great! I didn't do the sauce just because we don't like our wings really hot and I wasn't sure how hot it was going to be, so I just bought some Sweet Baby Ray's and mixed the wings in that - Delicious!

World's Best Lasagna

I followed the recipe except I didn't have any fennel seeds so I added a little more Italian Seasoning. I cooked it for dinner one night and it was good, but not great. I refrigerated the left overs and had some for lunch the next day - WOW! Really good - it was much better the second day. Next time, I'll cook it in advance.

Baby Back Ribs

I was skeptical since I am a rib lover and I'm very picky, but I have to tell you that I've already thrown away all the other recipes I've ever had for ribs! I pulled the bones out of them clean before I even started eating them. I followed the advice of others and used the "dry rub for ribs" and cooked for 4 hours at 250 - my husband and I couldn't get enough! YUMMY!

I am not a fish eater, but I am on weight watchers and trying to eat healthier. Fish was good, but the sauce made it great. From someone who doesn't like fish, 4 stars is great!

Fettuccine Alfredo V

This was very good the second time I made this. The first time I accidentally bought the wrong kind of parmesan cheese and it was VERY strong tasting. I made the 2nd batch last night with the right kind of cheese and it was much better. My husband who is very picky did like it, but it could have been a little thicker. I am hoping that it will thicken some after being in the fridge over night.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

WOW - I have only tried to make fudge once before and it didn't turn out, this was so easy. I used others suggestions, 2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup peanut butter, and 3 cups sugar instead and it was so good. It is sweet, but Hello . . . fudge is supposed to be sweet - my husband is a very picky eater and he LOVED it!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

The mayo/cream cheese mixture was a bit much, I would probably cut down on this part next time. I did use more meatballs and I cut them in halves so they filled more of the pan evenly. It was good, but next time I will use the mayo sparcely. It was a little overwhelming.
