I re-rolled the remaining crust and carved the jack-o-lantern with a sharp knife. This is a 9-in pie plate. The filling filled to the brim and is very liquidy before cooking--Try to avoid spillage. The slit in the center is from testing doneness with a knife. The pie also firms up more after you take it out to cool.
