Overnight Bubble Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2003
This came out great, my Bible Study Class loved it. However, next time, I will use just a little less pudding mix because it did not all dissolve. Easy Recipe though, thanks!

Red, White and Blue Slaw Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
Very good and very easy, especially when you buy the precooked bacon and cheat, the way I did. Came out great!! Thanks for a great recipe. Oh, I did add some shredded carrot for color.

Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
I thought this was very good, but next time will reduce the garlic some what and you can get away with 3 good size avacados and a can of corn. Also, recommend adding jalapeno and cilantro to the mix. Mine came out great.

Nice recipe, I added dry white wine and cubed potatoes, plus 1 cup of regular milk in place of 1 C 12 and 12 - still came out plenty thick.

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2003
This was OK, but it needs something. A bit bland for my taste. Has potential, will try again with some extra seasonings, perhaps mexican process cheese would help??

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2003
I totally messed up while making this cake, and it still came out fine. Used a 9" springform pan, and added some chopped strawberries to batter to give it some texture. Came out great. Next time, will just drizzle some of icing over top, not too much, very lemony, but good.

Fruit and Nut Slaw

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2003
This salad was ok, it was crunchy and had some flavor. But, I found it a bit watery, had to drain it off a little before serving. Next time will try to adjust the ingredients a little. Also, the Banana turned, so next time will try something like Mango.

Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole

This was such a hit with my family. I made 3 changes, 1) used 12 oz chorizo sausage, I'm not crazy about plain pork 2)added more rice 3)added 1/4 c red pepper to onion and sausage while cooking. It came out soooo great! Thanks Mandy!

Fish Fillets Italiano

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2003
Wow, this definitely gets added to my fast and easy repetoire. I doubled the fish, and used two cans of tomatoes and 1 large can of olives, chopped. Rest stayed the same. Served over Israeli Couscous, the boys asked for seconds, will definitely make this again. Thanks for the great recipe! I might add a few capers next time, just for kicks.

Tossed Romaine and Orange Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2003
This salad was easy to make, and tasted ok. I too added orange zest to it, I also added some chopped mint leaves, which helped. The dressing was a bit lackluster, it needs something to help it cling a bit more, next time, I will up the oil and reduce the OJ. .

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2003
This is a great recipe. Easy and my kids always ask for seconds. I keep crunchy chinese noodles on hand to add to it, and my family chows it down!! Add some frozen egg rolls and a stir fry and you have a great chinese dinner.
