Having worked in my parents kitchen at home as a young child, I started out in the restaurant industry with my first job in 1988 flipping burgers at a local burger joint in my hometown of Cedar Hill, Texas. After graduating high school in 1990, I served 3 years in the U.S. Army, in field artillery. Since being released from duty, I have gained over 20 more years working various positions in many different restaurants around the country, including South Carolina, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
