This slaw turned out to be a perfect side for our Caribbean Night dinner. I made it exactly as the recipe stated and wouldn't change anything. I didn't find it dry. It was great the next day, too. Thanks for a fresh recipe!

Seven-Up™ Cake II

This cake is a winner! I've been making it for years. Followed the recipe exactly except I added 2 tsp vanilla and 2 tsp lemon extract. Beautiful cake that always gets rave reviews. A sugar glaze is an excellent choice instead of powdered sugar.

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese I

This was a good macaroni and cheese. I used 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 Velveeta. It probably needed more milk because it started to get heavy and dry out by the time we ate. My family thought it was rich, but that said, there wasn't any left over! I'll probably make it again, but add more milk.

Italian Bread Salad

Tiramisu Cheesecake

Made this recipe for Christmas dinner. The crust and cheesecake turned out perfectly. I took other reviewers advice and heavily buttered the side of my springform pan and it was PERFECT. No crack. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of adding 6 tbsp. of Kahlua to the crust and 6 tbsp to the filling. My family that it had a strong alcohol taste. I thought it was fine. I'll probably make it again, but leave out the extra Kahlua.

Scalloped Pineapple

Made it for Christmas dinner. It was very sweet. Had a nice flavor, but was more like a dessert than a side dish with ham. My family didn't really care for it. I probably won't be making it again.

Mexican Layered Dip

Winner at the pot luck at work. Everyone asked me to bring it every time we have a get together. Brought home a empty dish! I made the guacamole by Bob Cody. It made an excellent addition. Quick and easy! Delicious!

Beef Pot Roast

Loved the crust on the meat. I added potatoes and carrots and like other reviewed said, the meat was not done in the time recommended. I removed the meat and cooked it another hour - separately. Then, added it back to the original pan and warmed everything up. Wonderful dinner for a Sunday afternoon. I'll definitely make it again.

Cheesy Vegetable Soup I

This soup was a hit! We made a few changes just because of lack of or availablity of ingredients. We sauteed some celery and sliced mushrooms with the onion. Instead of cooking in water, we added chicken broth instead. And, since we didn't have half & half, we used 2% milk. We also used a cup of shredded cheddar and a 1/2 block of velvetta since the other readers suggested it. My husband said that this is the best soup that he ever ate. Restaurant quality! We'll definitely make it again. Thanks so much for a great recipe.

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Awesome! My family can't get enough of this salad. It's sweet & tangy. Adding ramen noodles to cole slaw my sound weird, but it's delicious! Remains a family favorite.

Mango Salsa Chicken

The salsa was great. Easy to make and so fresh tasting. Made it in the middle of winter and it made us think of summer. Nice addition to grilled chicken, too. Will try is with fish. Didn't add the red pepper, but will add some lime juice next time.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This dish was great! We added a little garlic salt to the topping also. We had leftover topping so we spread it on toast and popped it under the broiler till melted and brown. Yum!
