Louisiana Shrimp Creole II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2004
This creole recipe was absolutely delicious! I marinated the shrimp in a few generous shakes of hot sauce and a TBSP of Asian red chili paste for a half hour before cooking. Nice and spicy turnout!! I also added 1 TBSP of chili powder. Besides cleaning the shrimp, cooking it was quick and easy. Next time when I'm in a rush, I plan on buying pre-cleaned shrimp and this becomes a fast seafood dinner. A great keeper!

Glish

I personally thought it tasted OK, but the friends I served it to loved it. It was easy to make, and I had all those ingredients in my kitchen cabinets.

Dump Cake V

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
Instead of cherries I used applesauce and it was the perfect sweeteness. I did not have coconut on hand but it still was very tasty. Such an easy last minute dessert to make, considering all you are doing is layering each ingredient and putting it in the oven! A keeper !

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
This is a great recipe- definitely a keeper! I only added a 1/4 c honey to tone down the sweetness, about 2 pinches of cayenne pepper, and a dash of cumin as another reviewer suggested- and it was superb ! Instead of serving on rice, next time I think I will try the chicken on a warm pita with plum tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, spinach leaves, and a sprig of cilantro. Mmmm...

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2003
This recipe was DELICIOUS! Way better than the store bought sauces...those I'll never buy again-especially since this is sooo easy to make! I used chicken breasts and halfed the sugar. Superb served over steaming white rice and stir fried veggies.
