Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2003
Fantastic! I've made this a few times and it is always a big hit. I use baby spinach and I don't bother cooking it. I just toss it in. When the spinach is mixed in the salad, the dressing naturally wilts as if it were cooked. I would highly recommend doing it this way.

Three Meat Cannelloni Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
This was heaven on a plate! Took forever to make but it was worth it. I followed the recipe almost exactly except I used equal amounts of beef and pork and skipped the veal. I also added some extra garlic.

This was fabulous! I made this along with several other appetizers on Christmas Eve and this went first. I had several requests for this recipe and will definitely be making this again. Thank you for the great recipe!

I added some fresh cilantro to this. The flavor of the cilantro made this salad even better!

Loved this! I spooned the mixture into Tostitos Scoops instead of cutting the tortillas into circles to save time. They were wonderful!

Cheese Rosti

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
This is great. I used two pounds of the pre shredded potatoes that you can get in the refrigerated section at the grocery store to save some time. I added some diced onion garlic powder, and a little leftover crumbled bacon that I had.

Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
This is a favorite! I usually halve the recipe for smaller groups because it's pretty rich. I use corned beef from the deli and assemble it ahead of time.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
I am not the best lasagna maker. I've tried many recipes and they've always turned out too dry or too soupy but this recipe was perfect. My friends said it was the BEST lasagna they ever had. I increased the garlic quite a bit and put a little extra sauce between the layers.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2003
I thought these lacked a little in flavor even though I doubled up on the spices and used fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. The ribs turned out tender and juicy though.

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
This was delicious and not too spicy at all. It has a refreshingly different flavor from all the usual "terriyaki" style marinades! We make this often!

Cranberry Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2003
My husband was not a big fan of meals cooked in the slow cooker until I made this recipe. He loved it. I did use brown sugar and cut the amount in half as others suggested. I also added some chopped onion and fresh garlic. To help cut the sweetness, I also added a can a chicken broth.

I tried cooking this on the grill in a foil pan. Despite 10 degree temps. and 40 mile per hour winds, my husband said this was the BEST fish he's ever had! Thank you Phoebe

Cherry Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
Very refreshing salad. I'm not a big fan of green olives but I loved them in this. Great way to use up the tons of cherry tomatoes in our garden. I only used half of the oil the recipe called for and thought it was perfect. Thanks!

Asparagus Cashew Rice Pilaf

I made this to go with Broiled Tilapia Parmesan tonight and it was a winner. I didn't add the cashews because I didn't have any. (We didn't miss them and I would not add them next time either.)
