Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I tried this recipe and made changes according to some of the other reviews. I couldn't find any corn tortillas so we used flour. I used one can of soup and one package of shredded tex mex cheese. In the ground beef I only used 1/4 cup water for the taco mix. I used the oven and cooked it for 35 mins at 375 instead of slow cooker. It was cooked perfectly and i was able to cut and serve like lasagne.

Fresh Guacamole

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2012
I followed the recipe almost exactly. I wanted a larger portion though so i added more ingredients. I didn't have red onion so I used sweet vidalia. I didn't have serrano pepper but i had jalepeno and i used chopped fresh garlic over the garlic powder. It turned out awesome. Even my 9 yr old daughter who won't try 'strange' looking food loved it. We kept the pit in the bowl and the dip lasted until it was all gone - 2nd day.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
I really liked this recipe. I had to change it a bit - no rice cripsies. I used the bran flakes from Rainsin bran and crushed them fine. Everything else was the same. Easy enough that the kids were able to help. I cooked it for 45 mins though.

Amazing White Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
I made this recipe last night. I made some changes based on preference and other reviews. I used half of one large vidalia onion (it's on the sweet side), 1 tbsp of flour used while I sauteed the onions, 3 cloves of garlic. I used light cream and 1 jar of clams. It was just the right consistency and so yummy! My husband loved it and went for seconds.

Healthier Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
I made these potatoes twice over the holidays and they were a big hit! The only changes I made was that I didn't peel the potatoes and used white potatoes over russet, I mixed 1 cup light cream and 1 cup skim milk and instead of all cheddar, i used half 4 cheese Italiano (Kraft) and the other cheddar. These were awesome and were gobbled up fast!

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
I didn't change this recipe but I did add chicken wings to a second tray. Everything tasted good although I would have liked it a tiny bit sweeter. My kids LOVED them and son even had 3rds. We normally have ribs and wings on the BBQ but I wanted something in the oven as it was really cold out :)

Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
I loved this recipe - have tried other recipes but this one tasted great and was pretty simple to make. I used the frozen Tenderflake crust and didn't put celery or celery seed as I had none and added extra corn cuz we all love it. It came out great! Thaks for sharing

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
We loved this recipe. Only change was to replace the nuts with chocolate chips for preference, mash the bananas, and sprinkle brown sugar on top before putting in the oven. This will be used again - so moist and yummy - not as dense as others I have made
