Fantastic! Made it as is (the only way to rate). Thank you! Ahhh made the wrong star previously!

Halibut Cheeks with Ginger-Orange Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
Great! I made it as written (which is the only way to rate it) and my only suggestion is to make more! I made a lot more (2 kids, 2 adults) to drizzle on our wild rice blend and steamed cauliflower and it was fantastic. My 3 yr old enjoyed helping make it too, since it gets put together in the bowl first. Thanks!

Pumpkin Coconut Curry

A bit bland, (it has heat, but not a lot of levels of flavour) but definitely a repeat, and the 2 and 3 year olds loved it.

Playgroup Granola Bars

I've passed this recipe on to so many people, made this with so many variations, and love every time, thank you! I use applesauce instead of oil consistently and only bake it for 18 min per another review. It's only 'not turned out' once, and again, per another review, broke it up a bit, stuck it back in the oven for a while at a lower heat and had awesome granola.

OMG so gooooood! I made it as directed (except used acorn squash and oven ready noodles) and love, love, love it. My husband, my two year old, and my 8 month old... we all loved it. And I don't like eggplant or squash at all!! Thank you.

Zucchini Yogurt Multigrain Muffins

I give it 5 stars because I'm such a poor baker (the last 3 muffin batches I tried making were thrown out) and I still managed to make these ones beautifully, and their delish. Thank you!

Clark's Quiche

I give it only two because it only mentions at the end that you bake it for 40 minutes!!! It says ready in 25 min at the heading, and I found it in the 'ready in 30 min' section of the site. REally choked me!!

Black Bean Soft Tacos

so great!!! Thank you! My only change was to add corn for taste and color. We try to have vegetarian meals once a week and this was one of those that you'll never 'miss the meat'. I'm sure it freezes well too. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My husband, toddler and I all loved it.

Chickpeas in Tomato Sauce With Feta and Wine

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
So great!!! We did not miss the meat in any way with this recipe. I can't wait to eat the leftovers! I used 2 fresh tomatoes instead of canned and broth instead of wine and it was so fantastic. I'll bet it's even more fantastic with wine!!! Thank you, thank you for the recipe :)

really great and easy. I was short on time so microwaved the beets instead (10 minutes on high). Thank you!

really great! I shredded the apple, with the skin on, and it's great. I made them in the 'mini' muffin tin and cooked for 10-12 minutes only.

Breaded, Fried, Softly Spiced Tofu

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Great! I served them with quinoa and black beans (from this site) and sprinkled a little soy all over. We both had seconds, and wanted thirds! If you want the tofu a little more dense (than even the extra firm) cut it up, marinade in the veg broth, and stick it in the freezer for a while. You can leave it there for at least a couple weeks, and it becomes more dense. (Freeze in a single layer until frozen) This goes for any tofu recipe, especially those that go on the grill!
