Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII
Omg, this cake was so delicious,.moist and good! Everyone LOVED IT. Even my boyfriend that doesn't have a sweet tooth kept asking for more! We ate pretty much half of the cake between 4 people. So what i did was used yellow cake mix, used pineapple juice instead of water to prepare cake batter and a splash of OJ and 1/2c of oil. Everything else i did the same. Oh and i don't own a cast iron skillet so i used a 9x13 pan. It was perfect!

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo
The first time I made this recipe I calculated it for 4ppl, I. Don't really like salty food so I adjusted it a little..1st I boild the pasta according to the package. Nxt, I put butter in a pan, I used less than 1/2 c because as some reviews said, it calls for too much butter. I fried some thin chicken cut into strips and I salted and peppered the chicken, I fried them till light golden brown (approx 4 min on each side on med heat)then I removed the chicken and added 1 clove of minced garlic because I thought it would be to garlicy, although nxt time I will use 2cloves. After the garlic sauteed in the butter I added the cream(added more bcus I like my alfredo creamy instead of dry) and added the cheeses gradually while stirring the whole time on low to med heat, as I added the cheeses I squeezed 1/2 of a small lemon into the sauce. It didn't take much to start to thicken so I added the chicken and small pieces of broccoli, I let tht boil in the sauce for 3min then I. Added the pasta andi let tht boil for another 3-5min. I dnt like my broccoli overcooked, if u do u can hold off on adding the pasta and cooking it longer. Overall, this recipe was great, my family like it. Will make it again. I liked it even more than olive garden, jst bcus I knw what's in it.
