So simple and so easy. Texture is great. This has substance. I used brown sugar and cream. Topped with a hot bourbon butter sauce. Bread pudding is my husband's favorite. I made this for his birthday and he loved it. This is a keeper.

Halibut with Zesty Peach Salsa

I used fresh peaches and added fresh grated ginger to both the marinade and the salsa. I used this on ahi. I made a salad with fresh herbs, dressed with white balsamic, lime and olive oil. Flash cooked the ahi,leaving it vey rare. I sliced it in thin slices and placed over the herb salad. I placed the salsa on top. It was so beautiful, my guest had to take a picture. It was excellent!! This will be a new staple in my house.

Mango Pineapple Salad with Mint

So easy and fresh tasting. My husband is a mango nut. He asked me to make it again after only a couple of days. I took it to a party and everyone wanted the recipe. I made it the night before. That gives the dried cranberries a chance to plump. I did not add a dressing as some of the reviewers suggested. The juices from the mango and pineapple were enough. It's great to have a simple component to your meal. That gives you more time if you are making something fussy.

Awesome Green Beans

This was great and so simple. I used the frozen tiny Haricot Verts beans so the cook time was less. I substituted chardonnay for the water. I added it to the cooked onions, garlic and sausage and let it cook down some before adding the beans. Also added some Herbes de Provence. Took this to a wine tasting and it was a hit. Thank you.

Apple Cardamom Cheesecake

Took this to a wine tasting and made a great hit. I used cinnamon graham crackers in the crust and also added cinnamon to the apples when cooking. We paired with an Orange Muscato dessert wine. It was devine.
