About this Cook
I'm a Native American stay-at-home father of one. I'm learning more about how to cook so I can really wow my wife when she gets home from work. My mother was a huge influence in my life. She loved to cook and had gone to college for a culinary arts degree. She instilled a love of cooking, and a knowledge of the warmth good food can bring to your house.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking dinners of all kinds. The kinds of comfort foods that make you feel warm on cold days. Being from Minnesota I know something about cold days and a bit about hot dish! I also love Asian food and love learning more about the styles of food and variety of flavors used.

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry
This was Fantastic! My family is not very fond of vegetables and normally my stir fries in the past have wound up with just the meats pulled out. This recipe however was such a wonderful blend of Asian flavors fried right onto the vegetables that we devoured it!

Root Beer Pork Chops
I would never have imagined a sweet pork chop recipe but this recipe pulls it off quite well. reading some of the other comments it seems I would have been better letting them soak longer in the root beer. Which as an interesting side note, I actually had used a diet A&W root beer which came out quite well.

Red Lentil Curry
This recipe was great! My wife and I loved the flavors and I can't wait to make it again! I had never cooked Indian food before but the laundry list of seasonings was still no trouble just as promised. the only change I made was I added some cubed chicken before the lentils.
