Easy Curry Couscous

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Wow!!! I was making a coconut breaded chicken for dinner tonight and I needed something to go with it. I dug through my cabinet and found a box of plain couscous. I wasn't sure what to do with the couscous so I searched for a recipe that I thought would go with the coconut chicken. THIS WAS IT!!!! I didn't follow it exactly since a box of couscous didn't exactly fit the measurements that were listed in the recipe. Instead I just boiled a can of chicken broth, added olive oil, couscous, a few shakes of curry powder, a few shakes of dried cilantro, some sliced almonds, raisins & a shake or two of black pepper. It tasted amazing!!!!!!!!! I will definitely make this again. Thanks for helping me use up some pantry items too!!!

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Awesome recipe. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I used a little less oil, as some suggested. (I used Enova). I also used Japanese Udon noodles and they were wonderful! They're like really thick spaghetti. Yummmmmm!!! We ate it hot the first night and then cold the next day as leftovers. Both were so good. It's a taste you'll crave!

Chili Cheese Dip III

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
I received a similar recipe from a friend of mine. The only difference is that she mixes salsa with the chili and sprinkles the top with jalapeno peppers. It's sooooooo good!!! We have a name for it, but I don't think it's appropriate to say what it is on this forum. ;) Try it, you'll love it!

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
I NEVER write reviews, but I always get recipies off of this site. This cake was SO GOOD that I had to write back in!!! I took someone's advice and added green food coloring to the glaze. It was perfect for St. Patty's Day!! I tested it out on my family this weekend, and I'm definitely going to make it again next weekend for a St. Patty's Day party!!!!! My house smells so wonderful too!

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
Excellent!!! I made this bread for thanksgiving and was begged to make it again for Christmas!! Instead of store bought pumpkin pie spice, I used the allrecipies Pumpkin Pie Spice II recipe and it worked very well. I also added chopped walnuts. YUMMMMMMMMM!!!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2004
This is the bruchetta recipe I've been looking for!!! I had some great bruchetta in a very fancy steakhouse and they served it on French baguette toast spread with Boursin cheese and then topped with the bruchetta. I followed this recipe to a "T" but omitted the mozzarella and substituted the Boursin spread underneath instead. It was wonderful! Thanks for sharing!!!

Cheesy Onion Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
I'm so glad I found this recipe! I had something similar to this at a party once and have been trying to find this recipe forever! This one is even better!!! I used regular, sun-dried tomato and spinach tortillas and it made it look very pretty on the plate. You really can't taste much of a difference between the different tortillas because the filling is so flavorful. They are even better the second day!
