Healthier Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
I made the recipe as is! It was amazing. But I didn't stop there. I added 1 tsp vanilla extract and increased the cinnamon to 1/2 tsp for the mixture. For my preference, that was better. Great recipe. Family loved it. OH, and today when I made the recipe, I added green food coloring for St. Patrick's Day. Went over big.

This was a great beginning. I loved it. I made it 4 or 5 times at this time, and made different versions. All delicious. Thanks Wilma!

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
I made the recipe "as-is" and it was good. And yes, you have to brush and base this ham pretty much every 15 to 20 mins. I was good. It was moist. I used the ready-eat-ham. At the same time, I made a second ham with a few changes - I added 1/2 cup of brown sugar to the mix and I used a shank ham, yes a cheap cut of meat. This came out spectacular! It was the best of both the hams made. I cooked the ham for the amount of time needed for the weight of the ham and based it every 15 minutes. OH man, it came out moist w/ that lovely flavor. I will be using this recipe again.

Stef's Super Cheesy Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
I tried this. Amazing amazing!!! Followed it right to the letter. It's perfect the way it is. I am sure it will go over well for any party cut into bite size pieces. Yes, it's heavy, but I'm sure it will go a long way with my friends and family. Great with spaghetti and sauce. Love it!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
This was perfect. Let me just say, I've read tons of recipes, but this one was simple & to the point. I made 2 loaves. They came out great w/ the recipe the way it was written. The same day, I made 2 more loaves with some changes - just things I wanted to put in my bread (cinnamon, 1/2'ed white sugar for brown sugar, nuts, raisins). Those came out wonderful as well. So, let me add - this is a GREAT BASE RECIPE! So for my picky eater son - he loved it. For my Foodie friends at work - they loved it too. Thank you and happy baking.

Cucumber Gyro Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
This reminded me of a Greek restaurant back home. Oh yum. I made it per the recipe. It was great. Then I made a second batch with added garlic, onion and that came out great. This is a great BASE recipe.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
I made this recipe as written. Chicken was good, but for us, we thought it was a bit too salty and the white pepper a bit overkill. I made it a second time w/ some tweaks - no white pepper, 1/2'ed the salt, cooked @ 350 for 1.5 hours - came out w/ the same crispy skin and the flavor was more to our preference. Recipe is a keeper w/ my family tweaks in line.

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
I have now made this recipe twice without any variations. It still came out delicious. You might think that 2 lemons are not enough, but it is. I gave this recipe to a friend, and she thought that and doubled the juice of lemon. She said it was too over powering. I believe that you need to stick to this recipe AS IS. It's delicious and the family loved it.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
I have made this recipe a few dozen times. Each time it's come out great. I've experienced with it (added herbs, made cal-zones, pizza pockets, pepperoni rolls, sausage appetizers). Each time it's come out the same...delicious. I've made this recipe and frozen it (original recipe and my version) with great results. This was great to be used on my pizza pan and on my pizza stone. I can't say enough. It's my GO TO recipe.

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Great recipe, great taste after I tweaked it. No water chestnuts, added a dash (or two) of soy sauce (that is a muss), practice your wonton assembly techniques. I didn't have it down pat, a few came out great, the others..well, not so much. I used phyllo cups to cook/bake the rest in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 mins. And Viola`! Yummers!!! Someone else suggested to make the mixture the night before - awesome idea. Best suggestion yet - read all of the reviews. Awesome recipe, I will be making my own from now on. Love it!!!
