Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2005
This was a very good recipe. I added 3/4 cup of sour cream and a 4.5 oz can of mushrooms (drained). I put the hamburger on the bottom of the pan.then the potatoes and poured the soup mixture over the top. I sliced the potatoes very thin.I Stirred it all about half way through cooking time then maybe once or twice more. I cooked it for 1 and 1/2 hours to make sure the potatoes were done.It was very good and even better the next day when I took some for lunch at work.My husband also liked it. Thank you for sharing.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
This recipe is Awesome. I did not have green onions so I used what I had on hand (Vidalia). I also was out of Garlic powder so I used fresh minced garlic. I doubled the sauce and divided it in half. This was so YUMMY. I had saved another recipe to try, But after making this I do not need another. Also I used 8 inch Flour tortillas Because it fit in my pan easier. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe- It was Excellent!

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: May 13, 2005
This ia a Great recipe. It is so simple. I cut up Round steak (extra). I simmered the Round steak with chopped up onions. I added extra cream of mushroom soup (2 cans) because the last time I made it I ended up covering it half way through cooking. Also it made more to go with the 16oz bag of noodles I cooked. I used a can of milk instead of water and added sliced fresh mushrooms rather then canned. Served it with biscuits. My husband Loved it. YUMMY !!! Next time I make it it will be half the onion soup mix (Onion soup mix is very salty) Thank you for sharing .

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2003
What a great recipe - The meat fell apart it was so tender and the gravy was delicious. I doubled the recipe for mushroom soup - 2 cans and 1 cup water (Not onion soup mix)and added a stalk of chopped celery and sliced fresh mushrooms. Also instead of water you can add 1 can of LOW Sodium beef broth. Cooked it on high for 5 hours, adding the carrots(small bag of baby carrots) and potatoes for the last 2 hours. I made fresh bread to suck up the gravy. YUMMY!!!.Thank you for sharing this recipe Katy. I just want to add that I smushed my potatoes before taking the photo - I was so hungry from the smell I almost forgot to take the photo.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2003
Football season - I made these today for a snack for watching the game. I used a medium home grown organic tomato and half of a medium onion (dicing extra thin and draining the juice from the tomato, with a little extra cheese and Pillsbury tender flake biscuits (10 Count). I seperated them into threes(When possible). I filled them almost full and had extra filling. I had so much filling I had to make a second batch - it was enough for 48! My mini muffin tin holds 24. Wow they went so quick - tried one - It was Great !!! Awesome recipe my husband loved them !!! He ate so many he was not hungry for dinner (well that and the beer - lol).Thank you for sharing - definately will make them again.

I was not impressed with these at all. I also removed the cover and broiled them so they were not so soggy. Not much flavor. I will not be making these again, but it was worth the try.

Yellow Squash Casserole

I made this as a side dish and it looked so yummy. Nicely browned, and had a great texture. My husband and I are not much for yellow summer squash but my Sister and Dad had both given me some from their garden. We both did not like it -way to sweet - maybe because I used sweet onions - Not sure

I made this tonight for dinner with a salad - It was Awesome ! My husband LOVED it, I also thought it was Delicious! I will definately add this one to my favorites and will make it again and again. UPDATE - I make this always as it is in recipe but sometimes I double the sauce - I like my meat covered when making it in the crock pot. With the extra sauce, add sautéed sweet onions and heat on stove for a wonderful onion soup. YUMMY !!!! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe - so easy and so yummy !!
