Sassy Steak Marinade and Sauce

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
Great Flavor !!!! Made this last night for dinner on my George Foreman grill.I did everything according to recipe.I marinated a thick Ribeye steak for about 9 hours and sliced a large portabella mushroom for the sauce. It was soo delish !!!! I often sautee mushrooms or onions with our steak but My DH always uses steak sauce anyway but with this recipe no steak sauce was needed. He loved it !!! I thought it was a bit sweet but very tasty. We will definately be having this again. I made this again and had a different taste - The cocktail sauce you use makes a big difference in flavor. Thank you for sharing your recipe

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
I made this exactly as recipe stated - (except I only made 1 large chicken) I let it marinate for 24 hours - Let it slow cook in a large roaster for 4 hours - then basted it with butter to get it to brown and cooked another hour. It was so tender the meat fell of the bone and the chicken was SOOO MOIST - It was DELICIOUS!

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was so simple and so good. I used the Budding sliced beef and it was not salty at all. My husband liked it alot. I made to much so we were going to have leftovers the next day for lunch - BIG mistake because this does not reheat well at all, The sauce gets lumpy. Very good and simple recipe / Thank you for sharing !!

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
These smelled so good when cooking. I only used half the cinnamon because the apple sauce I used already had it in it. I did add extra milk because the batter was thick. My husband thought they were very good. Thank you for sharing your recipe

Simply Au Gratin Shreds

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was very easy - I doubled the batch and made exactly as the recipe stated. I used 2 (20 ounce) package Bob Evans® Hash Brown Potatoes. It was very good but if I make them again I will add onions and garlic as there was not much flavor.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
This recipe was so easy and so yummy. I added 1/4 cup of water instead of 1/2 as some reviewers suggested. I doubled the topping and put half in pan, then added apples - sugar mixture and the rest of the topping. I used 2 honeycrisp apples, 2 figi apples and 2 granny smith apples because that is what I had. I baked it longer. This turned out Wonderful !!! My Husband Loved it - He said it was the Best he has ever had - I liked it with Ice cream - YUMMY !!!!!

Popovers

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I tried this recipe and another recipe - the other recipe called for 3 eggs - we liked them much better with 2 eggs. I made these in a muffin pan - Turned out fine. Cooked at 450 for 20 minutes - turned it down to 350 and could smell when it was done - I did not pay attention to time - It turned out a bit dark on the outside, But they were good I made these again and baked them for 10 minutes at 450 - then 350 till I could smell them and they looked done - Believe me you can smell when they are done - They turned out GREAT !!!! DON'T over mix them, the batter will be lumpy. Thanks for the recipe. Delicious !!!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I made this to take to a shower. I made according to recipe directions except I used 4 ounces of Jalapeno's and 1 1/2 cups of REAL shredded parmesan cheese, added 1 cup cheese to spread and mixed it in and sprinkled the rest on top. I did not use any bread crumbs. I made it in a small crock pot and kept it warm. It was AWESOME !!! Everybody loved it and wanted the recipe. It was completely gone - the dish was empty.I served it with tostitos scoops. So Easy and Sooo yummy !!! Very addicting, now I am making it again this weekend just for us to snack on. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
